Legal Representation
The Independent Tea Producers Association of Kenya (ITPAK) serves as a crucial umbrella organization, representing around 200,000 small-scale tea farmers who contribute their green leaf produce to 22 tea factories. This collective effort underscores the strength and unity of these farmers, enabling them to have a consolidated voice and platform for addressing various issues concerning their livelihoods and the tea industry as a whole. ITPAK operates as a non-political association, focusing on the interests and needs of its members who are private tea manufacturers across Kenya.
One of the significant areas of focus for ITPAK is legal representation, which is enshrined within the association’s constitution and governance framework.
