OUR SERVICES
Trainings
The Independent Tea Producers Association of Kenya (ITPAK) functions as an umbrella organization that brings together private tea manufacturers across Kenya. It operates as a non-political entity dedicated to serving the interests of its members. One of the key services offered by ITPAK is training programs, which are conducted both in-house and in open-house settings. In-house trainings organized by ITPAK are designed specifically for the members’ internal stakeholders. These trainings are tailored to address the unique challenges and requirements faced by private tea manufacturers in Kenya. They cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to tea processing techniques,
quality control measures, market trends, and regulatory compliance. By providing in-house trainings, ITPAK aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of its members’ workforce, ultimately improving the overall productivity and competitiveness of the private tea manufacturing sector.
Additionally, ITPAK also conducts open-house trainings that are accessible to a broader audience, including stakeholders from other sectors of the tea industry, government agencies, academic institutions, and the public. These trainings serve as platforms for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration. By organizing open-house trainings, ITPAK contributes to the development of the tea industry as a whole, fostering innovation, best practices, and sustainable growth across the value chain.
